So often, my husband and are 'on the road'
heading to work, to the store, traveling
and at times, spending more time in the car
than we seem to be spending at home.
Tonight, I spent some time with friends on the
Roman's Road, (studying the book of Romans)
where we were reminded of how much we need
the Lord. I need His forgiveness for my sin,
because NOTHING I can do can pave my road
to Him. Because of my sin, at one time I felt that God
was a billion miles away and yet - I found that He
was as close as a whispered prayer of faith,
when I called out to His perfect Son and asked forgiveness
for my sin, accepting that Jesus died for me, I invited
Him into my life.
What a wondrous thought.....to know that God so
loved me, that He gave His only Son, to be born
as a human - yet divine baby, to grow to manhood
teaching others about God, the Father,
and then offer Himself as a sacrifice
on the cross to pay for my sin.
As we approach this Holiday Season, I pray that
many will come to the Savior for a personal
relationship.....that they will find the bridge
that connects us to our Father in Heaven who
loves each of us, more than words can express.
