ThanksChristmas 2007

Last Thanksgiving, we had a dusting of snow
and if October 2008 is any indication of what
Thanksgiving 2008 will be....LOOK OUT!
It's been a week since I last updated my blog,

and I wonder where did the time go, except
for FRIDAY, which was the longggesssst day
ever. (Halloween - is NOT a friend to an
elementary school secretary)

I am excited to tell you that I have dragged
out the ol' sewing machine and am attempting
to make some jammies for my two sweet
grandbabygirls. So far, I am very pleased
with the project - and really enjoy the fact
that I can pray for each of the girls as I
sew for them.

It is not too hard to get in the mood for
Christmas, because last Tuesday, we got
about 10-12 inches of snow. All of our
trees were bent over with the weight of
the wet/heavy accumulation and many of
the weaker trees broke. Wednesday morning
I spent 15 minutes STUCK in my driveway.
Thankfully, my nearly-next door neighbor, son
mattyboy, came to the rescue and pushed my
spinny-tire car out of the ice rut I was in.

Well - that's pretty much it for now....
time for some MUCH needed beauty rest
and we'll be back to work before I blink.
sweet dreams to all :o)
