Seasons

I have heard it said that our marriages go through
"seasons". My daughter has appropriately labeled
my husband and I as:
free-spirit empty nesters.
So that is what I would call my current season.

How is that for a mouthful?

This picture was snapped alongside a lovely highway
earlier this year. I am embarrassed to say that I do
NOT remember where we were.....(which is a whole
other story in itself). I think the reason I am not sure
where this photo was taken may have something to do
with the following........

You see, so far this year, I have traveled to:

• New Jersey at least 6 times
• Florida once
• North Carolina once (unless you count driving thru it to get to FL!)
• New York City once (unless you count driving thru it to get to Long Island)
• Long Island

So maybe you can understand why I am not so very sure which state this picture was taken in. I could wake up my snoring sweetheart in the other room....I am SURE he would remember where we were on that lovely, sunny day pictured above.

Even though I may not remember every detail of every adventure I have shared with my man, there is ONE thing I AM sure about.

I would never want to have someone different to share my adventures with!

I met my "MISTER ADVENTURE" when I was 14 years old. He and I have been a dynamic duo for 37 years, and married for almost 34 years. Is that the sound of calculators that I hear? Yes, that means I am OVER 50. (impossible you say?) ha !

After reading the beautiful love story posted by my daughter, I have been inspired to share my love story....so stay tuned everyone!
