Have you ever seen a better lookin donut?

I LOVE these donuts ! Unfortunately,

at my "tender" age, the calories love me

and firmly attach themselves to my body.

So, as I enter week 5 of a weight watchers diet,

I am doing all I can to avoid the temptations of

fabUlous baked/fried goods. (not to mention my

most favorite treat, Dunkin Donuts Chai Tea)

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

But for those of you who may not be fighting the battle of the

bulge, I hereby want all of you to know that the BEST donut

in the world can be found at a sweet little bakery in Inlet, New York.

(which thankfully is a 2 hour drive from my house).

This donut shop makes their own custard filling, which is as light as a feather and fluffy.

Not to mention heavenly choc frosting on top of the six inch circle of delight.

In case you are thinking that I am exaggerating, the picture above is a HALF donut.

Well, now that I have re-lived the memory of this donut, I am going downstairs to eat a piece

of fruit.....I can't wait!!!! not
