I have received some nice comments regarding the title for my blog, so I thought I would share the reasons why I picked that title.
1. I invited the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart to be my personal savior 29 years ago.
He truly is "the good Shepherd" and His guidance and loving care have transformed my life.
2. One of my dearest friends and I used to sing together, and the song by the name of
"I Look to The Shepherd" was the first song we ever sang together.
It will always be a very special song to me.
(My friend has moved to FL and we no longer have the blessing of singing together.)
(I miss you Col!)
3. My title is a good reminder to me that as a Christian, I daily need to be looking to the Shepherd. He is the only source of strength and hope for living in this difficult day and age.
4. I pray that those who visit my blog, will question their own hearts to see if they are truly
looking to the Shepherd. Praise the Lord that He has promised that those who seek Him with their whole hearts will find Him!
