Retreat

This past weekend, I spent a beautiful
day at a ladies retreat. We met in completely
restored hunting camp that looks like a hill-top
mansion that has fallen from heaven
and landed in a picture-perfect setting.
More importantly than the setting,
was the subject - drawing nearer to
and hearing from the Lord.
The ladies were so encouraging
and welcoming - I was a stranger to
all of them (except for one) and I
felt like I had known them forever.
The one thing that really impacted
me the most from the day, was the
time we spent looking at Ecclesiastes.
There truly is a time and season for
all things - and I have been doing
some serious soul searching regarding
the season of life that I am in.
May the Lord give me direction
and wisdom.....amen
